APLA is now on the Auburn Domain
What does that mean for you?
AU Logins – Accessing the network resources on the new CADC servers will require that you use your Auburn University credentials (AU email username and password).
CADCShare – A network file server for Faculty and Students. This is where shared folders, such as Class folders, Supplemental References, and Student Organizations, will live. It can be accessed from any computer by going to \\CADCShare (Windows) or smb://CADCShare (Mac).
CADCPrint – A centralized print server that will house all network printers and copiers in the college. It can be accessed by going to \\CADCPrint (Windows).
Class folders – As mentioned above the Class folders for APLA, BSCI, SIGD, ENVD, and INDC will now be located on CADCShare. In addition to this, Class folders WILL NOT be automatically created. Faculty who would like a Class folder must put in a request. Requests can be made to the UTM in your department AND/OR the IT Coordinator (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Computer Lab – Beginning at the start of the Fall 2016 Semester, the 419 computer lab will be disassembled. All APLA provided software and resources will be accessed via VDI (or Cloud) services.
